Crisis Support Walk-in hours are open times when any registered CCD student can gain easy access to informal, confidential consultations with licensed therapists. Therapists are available on a first-come, first-served basis during designated times.
The therapist will listen to your concerns and provide support, perspective and suggestions for additional resources that may help you address your concerns. Services provided at the walk-in hours are not formal counseling and provide a great opportunity to get a feel for what counseling is like or to talk through an immediate concern.
Walk-In Hours Inquire about current walk-in hours. Students who are not interested in ongoing counseling would like the perspective of a consultation with a professional. Students who have a specific problem and would like to briefly discuss the issue. Students who have a concern about a friend and want some guidance and support about how to address the issue.
Immediate crisis concerns outside of regularly scheduled appointments. Group Therapy is open to CCD students, but you first need to meet with a counseling center clinician to determine your needs are appropriate for a group setting. Stay tuned for future group options coming this fall! The Auraria Campus Crisis Line This resource is also available to consult with those supporting individuals going through a crisis.
Mobile units and walk-in clinics are also available. See ColoradoCrisisServices.

Lincoln Park, immediately south of Colfax Avenue, follows the same west and east boundaries as Auraria, with Sixth Avenue as its southern boundary. Not the first city to be imagined near the Platte and Cherry Creek a distinction owed to the almost altogether unrealized St. Charles City , Auraria is perhaps the best claimant to being the heart of Denver. By , a modest number of cabins and other buildings, host to a variety of businesses, had been established.
